Any box of contents can ‘drop down’ under the top menu, to contain custom menu items (or any layout). It will adapt responsively to different screens, like the rest of the page.

Such an open dropdown will stay open on scrolling, but a left-click anywhere on the page will close it. The dropdown menu pushes down the page contents, instead of covering it.

Narrow your screen width to see the mobile “hamburger” menu. It can take any number of sliding submenus (try the arrows).

The main menu row (green bar above this one) and similar submenus will also wrap to a second line, if too long for the screen width.
